The ARCOPEDICO Footwear Concept

The ARCOPEDICO Footwear Concept dates back to 1966, when created by Prof. Elio Parodi, scientist of anatomic ergonomy, graduate of the Politechnic of Zurich.

This concept is based on his theory that the bone-system, of which the human body is composed, needs the arch of the foot to be supported in a correct way that the vertebral structure is kept at a natural position.

ARCOPEDICO shoes strive to be the most comfortable shoes on earth. These shoes feature handmade uppers and the patented anatomic sole which has twin supports to maintain the correct angle of foot arch support. The twin supports exercise the foot, strengthen the muscles, assist the circulation of the blood, and ensure more comfort in walking.
